Player Ratings
The Player Ratings system helps you track player performance and reliability over time. This guide covers how to rate players after events and how ratings are used.
Overview
After an event is completed, you can rate players who attended:
- Star Ratings - Rate from 1 to 5 stars
- Comments - Add detailed feedback about performance
- Historical Tracking - Ratings accumulate over time
- Player Profiles - Ratings appear on player profiles
When to Rate Players
After Event Completion
Ratings are available after an event's date and time have passed:
- Event must be in the past
- Only players who confirmed attendance (YES) can be rated
- Rating section appears automatically on event details page

- Ratings appear in the "Rate Players" section
- Only shows players who responded YES
- Available immediately after event time passes

- Open Completed Event
- Navigate to Events
- Find a past event
- Click to open event details
- Navigate to Ratings
- Scroll to "Rate Players" section
- See list of players who confirmed attendance
- Rate Each Player
- Star Rating: Click stars (1-5) to rate
- Comments: Add detailed feedback (optional)
- Ratings save automatically
Star Ratings
1 Star ⭐ - Poor performance or reliability
2 Stars ⭐⭐ - Below average
3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐ - Average performance
4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Good performance
5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Excellent performance
Click on the stars to set the rating. The rating saves immediately.

- Click Comment Box
- Find the text area below player's name
- Click to start typing
- Write Feedback
- Add detailed comments about:
- Performance during the event
- Reliability and punctuality
- Teamwork and attitude
- Skills and abilities
- Areas for improvement
- Save Comments
- Comments save automatically when you click outside the box
- You can edit comments later

- Be Specific - Mention particular skills or moments

Viewing Ratings
Player Profiles
Ratings appear on player profiles in the player list:
- Average Stars - Shows average rating (e.g., 4.2)
- Rating Count - Number of ratings received (e.g., 5)
- Display Format - ⭐ 4.2 (5)
Rating Display
- Stars are shown with yellow/gold color
- Average is calculated from all ratings
- Count shows total number of ratings
- Helps identify reliable players

When selecting players for events:
- High Ratings - Indicate reliable, skilled players
- Rating Count - More ratings = more reliable average
- Comments - Review comments for specific insights

- Open Event

- Change star rating by clicking different stars

- Changes save automatically

How Ratings Work
Average Calculation
- Average = Sum of all star ratings ÷ Number of ratings
- Displayed to one decimal place (e.g., 4.2)
- Updates automatically when new ratings are added
Rating Display
- On Player List: Shows average stars and count
- On Event Page: Shows individual ratings for that event
- Historical: All past ratings are preserved
Rating Privacy
- Ratings are visible to you (the organizer)
- Players don't see their ratings
